This new electronic switch from Futaba uses FET circuitry which enables greater current than a mechanical switch allied to lower voltage drop. Having a voltage range of 3.7 to 8.4 volts, the switch has a continuous current limit of 5 Amps, but a short term maximum of 10 Amps for no more than 30 seconds.
